Backstage with Marty Wilde
What a gentleman Marty Wilde was.
His senior years showed in his professionalism and the time he was happy to spend with me chatting about the industry, how things had changed, Covid vaccines, and his relationship with his daughters Roxanne and Kim.
This was my first introduction to the Wilde family and, having bopped to many of Kim’s hits in the 80s, was delighted to be speaking to the man who had penned most of her them....along with a great deal others that he performed himself during his career.

Well I never! To say I'm delighted would be an understatement.
